en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Nordex Group has secured a new batch of wind turbine orders in Germany, totaling 30 units with a combined capacity exceeding 197 MW. These projects are commissioned by wind energy companies ENOVA and BMR energy solutions, spanning three federal states: Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, and North Rhine-Westphalia. All contracts include a 20-year Premium long-term service agreement.
The repowering project in Boldecker Land, Lower Saxony, is being advanced by ENOVA with a capacity of 68 MW, utilizing 10 Nordex N163/6.X turbines. Installation for this project is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027, with grid connection planned for early 2028.
In Schleswig-Holstein, Nordex will supply ENOVA with six N149/5.X turbines, totaling 34.2 MW, for the construction of another wind farm. Construction is expected to start in 2028, with commissioning in the middle of the same year.
Two projects in North Rhine-Westphalia—Nettetal and Breberen—were initially developed by BMR energy solutions. The Nettetal project has been transferred from BMR to ENOVA, with Nordex providing five N163/6.X turbines. Construction is planned to begin in October 2027, with commissioning in early 2028. The Breberen project is being implemented jointly by ENOVA and BMR energy solutions in a partnership. It is also a repowering project, replacing older units with nine more powerful N163/6.X turbines to increase electricity generation and site utilization efficiency. Installation for this project also starts in October 2027, with a target completion date in the second quarter of 2028.
Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President of the European Region at the Nordex Group, stated that the company has built a long-term trust-based relationship with BMR and has deepened cooperation through multiple projects. The opportunity to advance further joint projects with ENOVA marks an expansion of this business relationship. Both companies rely on Nordex's technology and service capabilities, which is a strong signal of trust for the company. Hendrik Böschen, Chief Operating Officer of ENOVA, noted that these projects represent a significant milestone in the development of its wind farm portfolio. Through collaboration with Nordex and BMR energy solutions, ENOVA is efficiently and synergistically advancing several complex projects. Managing multiple projects of similar scale simultaneously also reflects its operational strength and scalability in the German wind power market.
