Avtotor Launches SWM Welding Production Line

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Avtotor (Автотор) has launched a welding production line for manufacturing SWM crossovers, utilizing a complete technological process that includes body welding and painting. The new line offers production flexibility, allowing rapid reconfiguration on the same platform to accommodate different models, and is used to produce the current G05 Pro and G01 F model series, as well as the new G01 Pro and G03 F models.

Vyacheslav Galuzinsky (Вячеслав Галузинский), General Director of SWM Motor Rus LLC (ООО «Шинерей Моторс Рус»), stated that the launch of welding production is a key stage in deepening the localization strategy. Producing SWM vehicles using a complete technological process ensures consistent product quality and compliance with Russian market requirements.

Wang Dongdong (Ван Дон Дон), head of the Russian branch of the Chinese SWM brand, emphasized that the investment in a full-cycle production facility confirms SWM's long-term commitment to developing the Russian market. Increased production capacity will enable it to meet growing demand and gradually expand its model lineup. Developing the dealer network remains a key priority to ensure a high level of after-sales service for every SWM owner.

SWM crossovers have been assembled at the Avtotor plant since 2023, and plans to establish a full-cycle production facility including welding and painting were announced at the end of 2024.
