en.Wedoany.com Reported - Rocha Terminais Portuários e Logística has commenced operations at the MCP03 terminal in Santana Port (AP), Brazil, which is dedicated to handling plant-based solid bulk cargo such as soybeans and corn. The lease contract has a term of 25 years, with a planned investment of 88 million reais to expand the terminal's operational capacity.

The allocated terminal area covers 11,700 square meters, with a storage capacity of 76,600 tons. According to the plan, the company will also extend the terminal by 30 meters and build new storage silos. Rocha won the bid for the terminal's operation rights in an auction held in 2024 with an offer of 58 million reais.
The company stated that the launch of the new terminal strengthens its logistics presence in the "Northern Arc" (Arco Norte) region. This corridor brings together port facilities in states such as Amapá, Amazonas, Pará, Rondônia, and Maranhão. In recent years, the Northern Arc region has continued to rise as a key export corridor for Brazilian grains, with the volume of soybeans and corn transported through its ports increasing from 36.56 million tons in 2021 to 58.06 million tons in 2025, a growth of 59%. Rocha expects the new terminal to enhance the competitiveness of Santana Port, boosting export capacity to major markets such as Asia and Europe.
