en.Wedoany.com Reported - Fesco Transport Group (Grupo de Transportes Fesco) has launched a new rail freight service, Fesco Caravan Shuttle, for transporting containerized cargo from Chinese cities to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan via the Dostyk and Altynkol land border crossings.

The first batch of light industrial goods departed from Xi'an, China, heading to Chukursay station in Tashkent, with a total transit time of 14 days. The service can handle various types of containerized cargo, including consumer goods, industrial products, equipment, spare parts, and other items.

Alexey Kravchenko, Executive Director of Fesco Integrated Transport, stated that the launch of Fesco Caravan Shuttle is part of the group's strategy to expand its business in Central Asia. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are among the most promising logistics markets in the region. FESCO has already established offices in these countries and maintains an extensive network of representative offices in China, enabling it to provide customers with comprehensive and predictable logistics solutions from major industrial and economic centers in China. The group plans to continue expanding its geographic coverage and transportation service offerings in the region.

In June 2026, Fesco announced the opening of a new office in Chengdu, China, which will focus on developing rail container transport between China, Russia, Belarus, and Central Asian countries.
