en.Wedoany.com Reported - Ulsan Ulju-gun has been conducting safety inspections at local private construction sites since the 5th to create a safe construction environment ahead of the rainy season and heatwave, with the campaign continuing until the 10th of this month.

This inspection aims to identify potential risk factors during the monsoon season and heavy rainfall, prevent safety accidents, and strengthen worker safety management through campaigns on heatwave response guidelines. The inspection covers the stockpile of flood prevention materials, cracks, deformation, or settlement in retaining walls and stone masonry slopes, installation of safety facilities in hazardous areas, and the setup of rest areas for workers. Additionally, on-site workers will receive promotional materials on heatwave response action guidelines.
This inspection follows the safety checks conducted during the thawing period in March and will involve the construction safety inspection team directly operated by Ulju-gun. Composed of experts from various fields, the team will analyze risk factors at construction sites from multiple perspectives and take corrective measures on-site in a timely manner.
A relevant official from Ulju-gun stated that detailed inspections will be carried out to proactively address safety accidents that may arise from summer natural disasters, and follow-up measures will be swiftly implemented after the inspections to create a safe construction site environment that reassures both workers and county residents.
