On the same day, the Zhengzhou Base reached the milestone of its 3 millionth vehicle produced, achieving this from the 2 millionth vehicle in less than 23 months. Alongside the start of production for the new model, another new vehicle at the base, the MG 4X, has completed its production ramp-up and is about to begin large-scale deliveries.

The MG 07 is built on SAIC's all-new new energy platform, positioned as a personalized new energy coupe in the 150,000 to 200,000 RMB price range, primarily targeting young consumers. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4886mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1478mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2825mm, placing it in the mid-size car segment. Its exterior follows the traditional luxury sport coupe style, featuring a fastback silhouette and a low, wide stance.

In terms of intelligent assisted driving, the MG 07 is among the first to be equipped with the Momenta R7 world model, paired with a LiDAR, enabling urban NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) capabilities.

For powertrain configurations, the all-electric version is equipped with a TZ185XY1181 drive motor produced by Shanghai Automotive Gear Works, with a maximum power of 176 kW, and CLTC all-electric ranges of 650 km and 610 km. The plug-in hybrid version uses a plug-in hybrid system featuring a 15FHC 1.5L engine produced by SAIC Group, with a maximum engine power of 82 kW and a peak drive motor power of 152 kW, offering a WLTC all-electric range of 185 km.
