en.Wedoany.com Reported - India's TVS Motor Company (part of TVS Venu) achieved total sales of 1.631 million units in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026-27 (FY27 Q1), setting a new all-time quarterly record for the company. The company also posted its best-ever performance in international business and electric vehicle sales, with June 2026 being its most outstanding month, recording monthly sales of 590,003 units.

Sales growth was driven by both domestic and international markets. Two-wheeler sales increased 27% year-on-year to 1.564 million units, compared to 1.232 million units in the same period last year; three-wheeler sales grew 48% to 67,000 units, versus 45,000 units a year earlier. The company's international business also performed strongly, with sales rising 33% in the quarter to 468,000 units, compared to 352,000 units in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

In June 2026, TVS Motor recorded its highest-ever monthly sales, with total sales surging 47% year-on-year to 590,003 units. Among these, total two-wheeler sales increased 47% to 565,417 units; domestic two-wheeler sales grew 46% to 411,014 units. Motorcycle sales rose 42% to 267,096 units, while scooter sales saw even stronger growth of 53%, reaching 247,950 units.

The electric vehicle business maintained rapid growth, with two-wheeler EV sales surging to 48,537 units in June 2026, compared to 14,400 units in June 2025. International business sales also grew 47% in June to 172,355 units, with two-wheeler exports increasing 48% to 154,403 units. Three-wheeler sales also maintained strong growth, climbing 51% in June 2026 to 24,586 units.
