The route expansion involves new flights from London Gatwick, London Luton, and Manchester to Nuremberg, alongside new services to Budapest, Vienna, Krakow, Rabat, Lyon, Sharm El Sheikh, Geneva, and Tromsø. This follows the airline's previous announcements, including a new route from Manchester to Cairo Sphinx and its first international route from Newquay to Geneva, bringing the total number of new winter routes announced in June to 26.

Oman Air will operate daily direct flights between Muscat and Abu Dhabi starting July 9. Abu Dhabi becomes the airline's 49th destination, with the new route supporting business and leisure travel and providing onward connections via its Muscat hub. Additionally, Oman Air plans to launch its first direct flights between Dubai and Salalah in July.
Jet2.com plans to expand its operations at London Luton Airport in summer 2027, adding 5 new routes, deploying a 4th aircraft, and increasing capacity by 15% year-on-year. New destinations include Malaga, Chania, Halkidiki, Dubrovnik, and Argostoli on Kefalonia. The airline will also extend its summer flight seasons to Corfu and Girona, while adding nearly 90,000 seats, bringing total capacity from Luton in summer 2027 to over 700,000 seats. Following this expansion, Jet2 will serve 27 destinations from the airport, with up to 55 flights per week during peak periods.
Smartwings will add two new routes from Prague for winter 2026-27, launching flights to Venice and Bergen. The Prague-Venice route will open on October 22, operating 4 times per week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights to Bergen will start on October 26, operating 2 times per week on Mondays and Fridays.
TAAG Angola Airlines has launched scheduled passenger flights between Luanda and Guangzhou. Initially operating once a week, departing Angola on Tuesdays and returning from Guangzhou on Fridays, using Boeing 787 aircraft. TAAG stated that the route will support business travel, tourism, cargo, and investment flows, while strengthening Angola's positioning as a gateway between Africa and global markets.
Riyadh Air has launched flights between Riyadh and Cairo, its 4th scheduled destination. The route uses Boeing 787-9 aircraft, operating two daily flights. The airline stated that these flights will serve one of the busiest international markets in the Middle East, catering to business travelers, tourists, pilgrims, and visiting friends and relatives (VFR) traffic.
