en.Wedoany.com Reported - Schlam, a market-leading specialist in loading and hauling attachments, has announced the development of a comprehensive range of installation kits, all designed by its in-house engineering team, for mining truck bodies and excavator buckets, providing customers with a one-stop solution from attachment supply to installation.

The new installation kits are a key component of Schlam's three-year major product development program and are compatible with equipment from all major OEM mining equipment manufacturers. The first batch of truck body installation kits is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of this year.

These kits will be bundled with Schlam's truck bodies and mining buckets, streamlining the procurement and installation process for mines while reducing the burden on customers to coordinate with multiple suppliers.

Amit Bareja, Executive General Manager of Product Lifecycle Services at Schlam, stated that this initiative is a natural extension of the company's position as a market leader in loading and hauling attachments.

"As a specialist in loading and hauling attachments, it is logical for Schlam to produce and sell these kits, as they are required every time we install our truck bodies or buckets onto host equipment," said Bareja. "From the customer's perspective, they no longer need to deal with multiple suppliers, as the kits will be bundled with the product, saving both time and costs. Additionally, the bundled product solution will offer extended warranty services."

These installation kits will be fully supported by Schlam's global service and support network, with spare parts stocked locally and readily available to minimize lead times and maximize equipment availability. "Unlike many component suppliers, our customers know they have a robust service and support network backing them up," added Bareja.

This initiative further strengthens Schlam's strategy of providing customers with a one-stop solution for loading and hauling attachments, covering the entire process from design and manufacturing to installation and subsequent after-sales support.

The first phase of the program will focus on launching truck body installation kits, with more products to follow as the development plan progresses.
