Based on a comparison of operational schedules between January 2026 to June 2026 and July 2026 to March 2027, the following six international routes are set to launch. Not all entries are new additions to Delta's route network. Among them, New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to Bermuda launches on October 6, 2026, replacing the JFK to Bermuda route, operated by Airbus A319 with four weekly flights; Atlanta (ATL) to Riyadh King Khalid International Airport (RUH) launches on October 23, 2026, initially daily then adjusted to three weekly flights on Airbus A350-900, marking a new market; Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Vancouver International Airport (YVR) launches on November 21, 2026, with two daily flights on A319; Atlanta to Tel Aviv launches on December 19, 2026, with three weekly flights on A350-900; Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) to Aruba launches on December 19, 2026, with one weekly flight on 737-900ER, a new market; New York John F. The Atlanta to Riyadh route is Delta's new entry into the Saudi Arabian market, supported by funding from the Saudi Air Connectivity Program. Delta has a codeshare agreement with SkyTeam member Saudia and has established a strategic partnership with Saudi startup airline Riyadh Air, which recently received approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation to fly to the United States. By great-circle distance, the one-way flight distance from ATL to RUH is 6,329 nautical miles (11,721 kilometers), with a maximum return flight time of up to 15 hours and 35 minutes. Delta will operate the route using a 275-seat Airbus A350-900 with a premium configuration, including 40 seats in Delta One, 40 in Premium Select, 36 in Comfort+, and 159 in Economy. Although the current two-way passenger volume on this market is less than 5,000, it already exceeds the passenger traffic on the Atlanta to Marrakech route launched last year. Delta will multiply local RUH passenger traffic several times over and sustain the route through connecting traffic via the Atlanta hub, including passengers from Los Angeles (18,000), San Francisco (9,000), Chicago (8,000), Dallas (6,000), and Houston (5,000).

The restoration of the Los Angeles to Vancouver route is part of Delta's planning for its Los Angeles hub. According to OAG data, Delta is currently the leading operator at Los Angeles Airport, with available seat miles planned for 2026 exceeding any previous year, 4% higher than the record set in 2019. Considering only flight frequencies, 2026 ranks as the fifth highest historically. After the route's restoration, the Los Angeles to Vancouver corridor will have six nonstop operators, including Air Canada, American Airlines, Flair Airlines, United Airlines, and WestJet, collectively offering up to 10 daily flights, compared to a previous record of 15 daily flights last seen 19 years ago.
