en.Wedoany.com Reported - Sun Group's Sun Phu Quoc Airlines (SPA) will launch two routes, Dong Hoi-Cam Ranh and Dong Hoi-Hanoi, on August 16, 2026, operated by Airbus A320/A321 aircraft with an average capacity of about 200 passengers. The Quang Tri Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism released the above information on July 6.

The Dong Hoi-Cam Ranh route is planned to operate three round-trip flights per week, scheduled on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The Dong Hoi to Cam Ranh direction is expected to depart at 12:05 PM and arrive at 1:25 PM; the return flight from Cam Ranh to Dong Hoi departs at 2:05 PM and lands at 3:30 PM.
The Dong Hoi-Hanoi route operates one round-trip flight daily. The Hanoi to Dong Hoi direction departs at 10:20 AM and arrives at 11:25 AM. For the Dong Hoi to Hanoi direction, flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays depart at 12:05 PM; on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, the departure is adjusted to 4:15 PM, arriving in Hanoi at 5:20 PM.
The Quang Tri Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism stated that the launch of the new routes is a result of local efforts to enhance tourism promotion and regional connectivity, with coordination from Khanh Hoa Province and Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), as well as support from Sun Group's local investment projects and tourism product development.
The Dong Hoi-Cam Ranh route is expected to contribute to expanding connectivity between Quang Tri Province and the south-central region, creating conditions to attract tourists from southern provinces and international markets. Meanwhile, the construction of the "Hanoi-Dong Hoi-Cam Ranh" connecting itinerary also facilitates the development of cross-regional tourism products combining the "Exploring the Central Heritage Road" tour route.
