Airbus Delivers 72 Commercial Aircraft in September, Cumulative 547 in First Three Quarters

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 8, European aircraft manufacturer Airbus released its commercial aircraft order and delivery data for September 2026, delivering 72 aircraft to 37 customers during the month, an increase of 15 aircraft compared with August. In the first three quarters, it delivered a cumulative total of 547 commercial aircraft to 84 customers, up about 8% year on year, with the full-year delivery target still at about 870 aircraft.

Among the aircraft delivered in September, the A320 family totaled 59 aircraft, including 37 A321neo, 21 A320neo and 1 A319neo; the A220 family delivered 8 aircraft, all A220-300. In terms of widebody aircraft, 2 A330-900 and 3 A350-900 were delivered. Among the aircraft delivered cumulatively in the first three quarters, A220 and A320 family narrowbody aircraft totaled 496, while the A330 and A350 families delivered 13 and 38 aircraft, respectively.

In terms of orders, Airbus received gross orders for 17 commercial aircraft in September, including 15 A320neo ordered by Egypt's Cairo Aviation and 2 A321neo ordered by Armenia's FLYONE airline. Three orders were canceled during the month, bringing net orders up by 14 aircraft. As of the end of September, Airbus had received a cumulative total of 1,174 gross orders during the year, and after deducting 69 canceled orders, net orders stood at 1,105 aircraft.

Airbus delivered 793 commercial aircraft in full-year 2025. Based on the established 2026 delivery target, about 62.9% had been completed as of the end of September, with 323 aircraft still needing to be delivered in the fourth quarter, averaging about 108 aircraft per month.
