en.Wedoany.com Reported - Under the deployment of Guangdong Province's "High-Quality Development Project for Hundreds of Counties, Thousands of Towns, and Tens of Thousands of Villages" and the digital rural construction initiative, China Unicom Zhuhai Branch has focused on three major directions—upgrading rural governance through Party building, increasing collective economic income, and improving villagers' livelihood services—to promote the implementation of digital services in grassroots villages and towns in Doumen, providing digital and intelligent support for the comprehensive revitalization of Zhuhai's rural areas.
In terms of organizational system construction, the company's Party Committee Publicity Department, Public Customer Business Department, and the backbone members of the Doumen District Branch Party Committee formed a "Spark Igniting the Prairie, Digital and Intelligent Empowerment Commando Team," establishing a combat system where the municipal company provides overall empowerment, district and county branches implement locally, and Party members tackle frontline challenges. The Doumen District Branch Party Committee has established paired cooperation with key villages such as Huangjia Village, Rongyi Village, and Nanmen Village in Baijiao Town. Through the Party member commando team going down to the front line, they identified digital pain points in grassroots governance, industrial development, and livelihood services, and tailored integrated solutions for each village, including safe rural security, full coverage of gigabit networks, and convenient digital services.
To address the digital construction needs of some villages, the Party member commando team followed up on village committee meetings throughout the process, conducted over ten door-to-door visits for coordination, and participated in multiple special discussions in villages late into the night. They introduced digital rural welfare policies and collective economic income enhancement plans, shared successful implementation cases from within the province, and leveraged corporate resources to assist in optimizing the living environment and improving infrastructure.
China Unicom Zhuhai Branch stated that it will continue to focus on the province's "Hundreds, Thousands, and Tens of Thousands Project" goals, deepen the full-scenario application of digital villages, and promote the high-quality development of Zhuhai's rural areas.
