en.Wedoany.com Reported - US operator Sabey Data Centers has gained a new investor.

Sabey Corporation and National Real Estate Advisors jointly announced that the Secondaries funds of Ares Management Corporation have made a minority equity investment in Sabey Data Center Properties (SDCP), with the specific investment amount undisclosed.
Sabey Data Centers is a joint venture between Sabey Corporation and National Real Estate Advisors, operating data centers across multiple locations in the United States, including Quincy, Seattle, and East Wenatchee in Washington State; New York City; Austin, Texas; Umatilla, Oregon; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Ashburn, Virginia, all of which have operational or development sites.
According to its owners, the operator has approximately 251 megawatts of operational capacity across roughly 4 million square feet (371,612 square meters) of facilities, with the potential to triple capacity on existing land by 2036.
Ares' capital injection brings institutional capital and future expansion capabilities to SDCP, which the company says can accelerate development at existing campuses and seek new opportunities in key data center markets.
Tim Mirick, President of SDCP, stated that welcoming Ares as an investor is a strong endorsement of the SDCP platform, team, and the long-term demand for data center infrastructure. The three parties jointly support the business, facilitating the execution of growth plans and providing the mission-critical capacity that customers require.
Jeffrey Kanne, President and CEO of National Real Estate Advisors, added that Sabey and National have built a long-term partnership around this platform and are pleased that Ares is part of this ongoing relationship. This investment introduces an additional institutional partner aligned with the growth approach of the company's data center portfolio.
Sabey Corporation, founded in 1971, specializes in private commercial real estate development and investment; National Real Estate Advisors, established in 2000, is an investment management firm focused on real estate. Ares Management Corporation, founded in 1997, is a global alternative investment manager with $644 billion in assets under management, owning data center company Ada Infrastructure and having previously provided funding for Vantage and EdgeConneX.
Ares Infrastructure Secondaries manages approximately $42.6 billion in assets, focusing on investing in diversified portfolios of experienced private infrastructure assets. Last year, Ares announced that its Ares Secondaries Infrastructure Solutions III had closed with a final fundraising of $5.3 billion.
Evercore and Citizens Capital Markets & Advisory (a subsidiary of Citizens Financial Group) served as financial advisors to SDCP for this transaction.
