The standard model is named Musso Rhino (musso means rhinoceros in Korean), while the extended version is called Musso Rhino+. The UK launch information confirms basic specifications and also hints at the features likely to be offered in the Australian version. In terms of powertrain, the Musso is equipped with a 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, delivering a maximum power of 149kW (at 3800rpm) and peak torque of 400Nm (at 1400-2800rpm), paired with an Aisin six-speed automatic transmission and an optional four-wheel-drive system. For reference, the entry-level Ford Ranger's 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine outputs 125kW/405Nm, while the entry-level Toyota HiLux (manual transmission) produces 150kW/420Nm. Combined cycle (urban/extra-urban) fuel consumption is 7.9L/100km, with CO2 emissions of 252g/km. The drive system offers three modes: 2WD High, 4WD High, and 4WD Low, with standard hill-start assist and hill descent control. In terms of off-road parameters, the standard Musso has an approach angle of 30.9 degrees and a departure angle of 27.8 degrees; the long-wheelbase version features 30.6 degrees and 24.5 degrees, respectively. The minimum ground clearance is 248mm.
There are differences in the cargo bed configurations between the two versions: the standard Musso has a cargo bed length of 1300mm, a volume of 1011 liters, a payload of 1090kg, a gross vehicle mass (GVM) of 6750kg, and a width capable of accommodating a Euro pallet.
The long-wheelbase version offers improved figures: a cargo bed length of 1610mm, a volume of 1262 liters, a payload of 1200kg, and a GVM of 6900kg. Both versions share the same cargo bed width (1570mm) and depth (570mm). Both models come standard with a cargo bed liner, eight tie-down anchors, a wide-opening tailgate, an LED cargo bed light, and rear bumper corner steps. Braked towing capacity reaches 3.5 tons, with standard trailer sway control, a rearview camera, Clear Sight View (which uses a front camera to synthesize a view directly beneath the front of the vehicle), and a 360-degree surround-view camera system.
Other standard features include LED projector headlights, 18-inch brushed chrome alloy wheels, silver side steps, black and silver roof rails, Nappa leather seats, power-adjustable ventilated front seats, heated front and rear seats, dual-zone automatic climate control (with physical knob controls and rear vents), a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen. Additionally, there is wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, rear USB-C ports, digital radio, keyless entry and start, rain-sensing wipers, and adaptive cruise control. In terms of UK pricing, the Musso Rhino is priced at £38,995 (approximately AU$75,350), and the Musso Rhino+ at £39,995 (approximately AU$77,300), both excluding VAT, but prices are expected to be lower when launched in Australia.
