Severn Group is an industrial valve company specializing in severe service fluid control solutions. The acquisition covers all three of its business divisions: Severn Glocon, ValvTechnologies, and LB Bentley. Valmet stated that Severn's technical capabilities and customer resources will strengthen its Process Performance Solutions division, which currently contributes nearly half of the company's profits.

Valmet's President and CEO Thomas Hinnerskov stated that Severn has strengthened Valmet's business layout in three ways: opening up new accessible markets in the refining, energy, and metals sectors; bringing installed equipment base, allowing Valmet to unlock its aftermarket potential through a full lifecycle service model; and expanding the company's technical expertise in severe service fluid control. Severn Group has 900 employees and reported net sales of approximately $246 million in 2025. The group will be integrated into Valmet's Flow Control business area, further solidifying its position as a supplier of critical valves and valve automation solutions.
