According to the company, this spindle series maintains a constant high speed of 30,000 to 65,000 RPM under load, with a rated power of up to 0.55 horsepower. It can be retrofitted to any CNC machine and is suitable for engraving, mold making, milling, and finishing operations using small tools up to 1/8 inch (3 mm) in diameter.

The spindle features a patented direct-drive design with only two moving parts, and optimized air circulation over the bearings enables 24/7 operation with no heat or thermal expansion, eliminating duty cycle limitations. Its governor increases airflow based on cutting load, allowing the turbine to maintain constant rated speed and torque under load, resulting in faster, cleaner cuts while extending tool life and reducing frequent breakage of small tools.

Official data indicates that the 625 series spindle maintains 2-micron TIR accuracy and a vibration level of 0.4 mm/s, reducing cycle times and minimizing tool breakage. In comparison, nominal high-speed coolant spindles experience performance degradation during cutting and clogging from chips. The spindle operates by simply connecting to 90 psi compressed air, and full automatic tool change (ATC) can be achieved on any CNC machine via air-through-spindle or using the company's patented collar and locating block.

With no gears, vanes, or brushes, this design reduces friction and wear while eliminating heat, thereby lowering downtime and maintenance costs associated with friction and overheating. With toolholder configurations including JS, HSK, CAT, BT, and DIN series, the 625 series spindle can be integrated into CNC machine tool magazines for automated, uninterrupted production.

The higher-power 625X series spindle features a patented dual-turbine design, delivering speeds up to 50,000 RPM and 0.76 horsepower, supporting operations such as contouring and peck drilling in hard materials with tools up to 1/4 inch (6 mm).
