This model is Ducati's first modern endurance motorcycle designed for off-road terrain, developed based on the motocross bike Desmo 450 MX, with specific tuning for long-distance riding and challenging terrain.
Starting from July 2026, this off-road motorcycle will be available at European dealerships. At its core, the new model features a single-cylinder engine with Ducati's iconic desmodromic valve system, a technology that forms its key differentiator in the endurance motorcycle segment.
Engineers have tuned the engine to deliver ample torque in the low and mid-range RPMs, helping riders overcome complex obstacles without frequent gear changes. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox. The frame is made of lightweight aluminum alloy, weighing less than 9 kilograms, and consists of 11 independent components to enhance reliability. For high-intensity off-road use, the motorcycle comes standard with hand guards and an engine guard, along with an 8.5-liter transparent fuel tank that allows quick fuel level checks while riding.
In terms of suspension, Ducati has partnered with Showa, featuring 49mm front forks and a rear shock absorber co-tuned with multiple world endurance champion Antoine Meo. Softer springs and up to 310mm of travel effectively absorb impacts from rocks or tree roots. The braking system is supplied by Brembo, designed for precise control on rugged terrain.
Buyers seeking higher technology can opt for the track kit, equipped with a traction control system that precisely and linearly manages rear wheel slip. This system can detect jumps and temporarily deactivate in such situations to avoid interfering with forward motion. Through a smartphone app, various riding modes and parameters (such as engine braking) can be personalized, though the kit is not certified for public road use.
In terms of maintenance, an algorithm calculates the engine's actual wear in the background based on riding style and terrain type, allowing owners to know via the app when service is needed.
