en.Wedoany.com Reported - China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) has successively signed four general construction contracts in Rwanda, covering road construction and airport supporting projects, further consolidating its position in the local infrastructure market. These projects are being advanced by CRBC's Rwanda office, involving the Bumbogo-Birembo Road, the Bugrama-Buyeye Road Upgrade, the New Kigali International Airport Expressway, and the New Kigali International Airport Jet Bridge Project.
The Bumbogo-Birembo Road project, located in Kigali city, spans approximately 9 kilometers and serves as a vital route to the Rwanda Defence University. Upon completion, it will improve regional road conditions and enhance traffic service levels along the corridor.
The Bugrama-Buyeye Road Upgrade project, covering about 60 kilometers, is a key transport infrastructure project in southwestern Rwanda. It is significant for improving transportation in remote areas, strengthening regional connectivity, and promoting economic and social development along the route.
The New Kigali International Airport Expressway project, approximately 12 kilometers long, is a rapid transit corridor connecting to the new airport and Rwanda's first toll highway. The Rwandan government entrusted CRBC with this major transport project linking the new airport, reflecting the client's recognition of CRBC's comprehensive strength and professional expertise.
The New Kigali International Airport Jet Bridge project marks another achievement of CRBC's deep involvement in the new airport construction. Previously, the company won the bid for the steel structure works of the new airport terminal. Taking on this core supporting project further demonstrates the client's continued recognition of CRBC's professional capabilities and project execution standards.
The simultaneous implementation of these four projects is a result of CRBC's Rwanda office executing the group's strategic deployment, fully showcasing the company's comprehensive strength. It will enhance CRBC's brand influence and overall competitiveness in Rwanda's infrastructure sector, laying a foundation for long-term and stable development in the local market.
