en.Wedoany.com Reported - Shijiazhuang Enric Gas Machinery Co., Ltd. has expanded its electrolytic water hydrogen production BOP (Balance of Plant) products from 2,000 Nm³/h to 8,000 Nm³/h, forming a standardized equipment matrix covering different capacity gradients. Among them, the 8,000 Nm³/h purification skid can meet the purification needs of current mainstream large electrolyzers, providing supporting support for 10,000 Nm³/h-level hydrogen production clusters.
According to industry statistics, as of the end of March 2026, China's built and under-construction renewable energy hydrogen production capacity has exceeded 1 million tons per year. Against this backdrop, Shijiazhuang Enric, leveraging over 50 years of experience in pressure vessel manufacturing, started from 2,000 Nm³/h and gradually developed toward 8,000 Nm³/h and larger scales. The company's products have achieved the first domestic delivery and have been exported to Europe, while also holding China Classification Society (CCS) certification, preparing qualifications for offshore hydrogen production scenarios.
In 2022, the large-scale development of China's green hydrogen industry had not yet fully unfolded, and the single-cell gas production capacity of electrolyzers was transitioning from several hundred Nm³/h to the thousand Nm³/h level. At that time, the BOP segment generally adopted a fragmented "one project, one design" model, lacking standardized products. That year, Shijiazhuang Enric Gas Machinery Co., Ltd. decided to enter the electrolytic water hydrogen production BOP track, relying on its accumulation in pressure vessels and skid-mounted equipment. Starting from independent design and manufacturing of pressure vessels, the company gradually built autonomous solutions such as gas-liquid separation devices and hydrogen purification devices. In 2024, the company launched its first commercial BOP product, a 2,000 Nm³/h alkaline electrolytic water hydrogen production wide-range regulation separation and purification device. This device achieves 100% efficient hydrogen processing with zero process loss and features a wide flexible regulation capability from 10% to 110%. After treatment, the hydrogen purity exceeds 99.9995%, with a dew point as low as -70°C.

After verifying system stability with the first commercial product, the company subsequently completed the R&D and manufacturing of a 4,000 Nm³/h separation skid and an 8,000 Nm³/h purification skid. The 8,000 Nm³/h purification skid underwent remodeling and optimization in tower design, adsorption process, and valve control logic. Thus, the company's product matrix now covers different capacity gradients from 2,000 Nm³/h to 8,000 Nm³/h.

Alongside product serialization, Shijiazhuang Enric has taken the lead in China in obtaining the complete set of onshore special equipment inspection qualifications from the Special Equipment Inspection Institute, and holds an A2-level pressure vessel manufacturing permit, an ASME qualification certificate, and a GC2-level pressure pipeline construction qualification. In the international market, the company's products have obtained EU CE certification and have been exported to Germany and Italy, gaining recognition in projects of an international energy enterprise in Europe. Additionally, the company holds China Classification Society (CCS) certification, making it adaptable to ship and offshore operating conditions.

The company boasts a 60,000-square-meter manufacturing and assembly workshop and an automated welding equipment cluster, with the capability to independently manufacture core components such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and towers, and provides one-stop services from solution design to on-site commissioning. In April 2026, at a large hydrogen production project site in Northeast China, the company's supplied 4,000 Nm³/h separation skid and 8,000 Nm³/h purification skid were installed. The equipment passed inspection by special equipment inspection authorities, and the modular design shortened the on-site installation cycle. This project currently features the largest-capacity separation and purification equipment applied in actual engineering in China.
At the end of 2024, the company's first commercial product was shipped to a domestic hydrogen production project site. In mid-2025, two sets of electrolytic water hydrogen production separation and purification devices were shipped to Germany and Italy, marking the first batch of domestically produced BOP equipment to enter the European market, and they are currently operating stably. In the same year, a 1,000 Nm³/h device for a wind-solar hydrogen production project in Northwest China was delivered on time, with its wide-range regulation and low dew point performance performing well under fluctuating conditions. Subsequently, the company also delivered multiple sets of products, including a 2,000 Nm³/h atmospheric pressure skid and a 5,000 Nm³/h separation skid, to various domestic enterprises.

A relevant person in charge of Shijiazhuang Enric stated that the company, as CIMC Enric's gaseous hydrogen manufacturing base for domestic hydrogen energy equipment, will continue to be committed to technological innovation and industrial upgrading of green hydrogen equipment, with product application scenarios covering wind-solar hydrogen production, green chemicals, hydrogen metallurgy, and hydrogen refueling stations.
