en.Wedoany.com Reported - DMG MORI announced in Munich that it will participate in the AMB exhibition in Stuttgart from September 15 to 19, 2026, under the motto "Never Stop Manufacturing the Future." The company plans to demonstrate the actual operation of 20 highly automated machine tools at its booth covering over 2,100 square meters in Hall 10, supporting customers in navigating dynamic market environments through efficient manufacturing solutions and long-term partnerships.

For DMG MORI, the design and commissioning of manufacturing solutions mark the beginning of a long-term collaboration, with a focus on reliable partnerships throughout the entire lifecycle. The company combines advanced machine tools with efficient automation, supplemented by digital tools and products from the DMQP (DMG MORI Qualified Products) portfolio. Service and spare parts programs ensure high availability, while modernization concepts such as retrofitting and lifecycle services extend the useful life of investments. Additionally, financing solutions from DMG MORI Finance and customized training programs are key components of the collaboration.

Machining Transformation (MX) is DMG MORI's holistic approach to designing efficient manufacturing solutions for demanding applications. This approach is based on 5-axis simultaneous milling and 6-sided complete machining on mill-turn centers, with the ability to integrate additional process steps such as gear cutting and grinding. Automation solutions and Digital Transformation (DX) promote continuous process optimization, aiming for sustainable and competitive manufacturing within the framework of Green Transformation (GX).

The new BX Solutions expand the MX portfolio with machines that offer lower complexity and attractive pricing. Examples to be showcased at AMB include the new size class machine DMV 160 in the vertical milling segment, the mill-turn machining center CLX 450, and the 5-axis milling machine DMX 80 U. These machines provide a cost-effective entry point into future-oriented production for markets with lower investment willingness and increase capacity for simpler workpieces in advanced manufacturing environments. BX Solutions expand the portfolio through cost-effective manufacturing solutions, with most solutions already compatible with CELOS X and supporting automation. Furthermore, DMG MORI technology cycles accelerate shop-floor programming, and users can leverage the complete Gear Package ALL IN 2.0, which includes eight technology cycles, for gear machining on existing mill-turn centers without the need for dedicated gear cutting machines.

DMG MORI supports customers with technologies that make processes safer and more efficient, including 5-axis machining centers and mill-turn centers for 6-sided complete machining. Grinding and measuring can be integrated in a single setup, as demonstrated by the DMC 80 FDS duoBLOCK and the third-generation NTX 2500. Automatic measuring units, as well as pallet and workpiece changers, increase machine uptime, resulting in consistently precise machining up to the finishing stage. In the field of gear cutting, the DMG MORI gearBROACHING technology cycle on the CLX 450 supports job shops in flexible and more cost-effective gear production without the need for specialized machinery. Such integrated processes shorten lead times, laying the foundation for stable processes and sustainable success. In additive manufacturing, the powder bed system LASERTEC SLM series and the laser cladding hybrid machine LASERTEC DED help users start by identifying suitable applications and successfully integrate additive processes into existing production.

In automation, the second-generation DMU 60 eVo paired with the compact MATRIS WPH 70 demonstrates the possibilities of flexible manufacturing. This system, based on a robot design, can handle both workpieces and pallets simultaneously, and combined with an automatic measuring unit, helps increase machine uptime, paving the way for 24/7 production. Robo2Go is now used in combination with the easyFIX automated clamping system. For workpiece changes, the robot can precisely reposition the vise, granting it greater autonomy, eliminating manual intervention by the operator, while automated clamping ensures consistent processes. This solution will be demonstrated on the 5-axis DMU 40.

Digital Transformation (DX), as a cornerstone of Machining Transformation (MX), seamlessly connects machines, processes, and applications via the CELOS X platform, leading to simpler and more transparent production. The online platform my DMG MORI accelerates problem-solving through equally transparent and direct communication with relevant experts, and spare parts are also procured through the digital platform. Exclusive DMG MORI technology cycles can reduce programming time by up to 60% and integrate manufacturing processes such as gear cutting or grinding. At AMB, the range of on-demand technology cycles is extended to all machines from the Pfronten plant, with new additions including the Automatic Turning Cycle (ATC) and Machine Protection Control (MPC 2.0). ATC adjusts the feed rate based on table load, while MPC 2.0 reduces the risk of collisions by monitoring vibrations and stopping the machine quickly when necessary.
