en.Wedoany.com Reported - On June 30, 2026, Sunnytec's new energy vehicle parts manufacturing headquarters project officially broke ground in Zhoushi Town, Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. With a total investment of 700 million yuan and a planned construction area exceeding 42,000 square meters, the project is expected to be completed by September 2027 and commence production in March 2028, adding an annual output value of 1.1 billion yuan. The project will establish a headquarters base integrating R&D, production, and sales for new energy vehicle parts, focusing on core products such as lightweight chassis, damping structural components, and steering system parts.

Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Ningguo City, Anhui Province, Sunnytec Precision Industry Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise and a national-level specialized and new "Little Giant" enterprise integrating R&D, production, and sales. The company's main products include metal stampings, weldments, aluminum alloy products, and assemblies, widely used in automotive body systems, chassis damping systems, steering systems, passive safety systems, and new energy three-electric systems. The company operates innovation platforms such as a national-level CNAS laboratory and a provincial-level enterprise technology center, with two R&D centers, five manufacturing bases, and an overseas warehousing network.

Since settling in Zhoushi Town, Kunshan in 2016, Sunnytec has continuously deepened its presence in the key components sector of new energy vehicles. The company has entered the supply chains of major domestic and international automakers, becoming a first-tier supplier to well-known OEMs such as Geely, Zeekr, Chery, and NIO, and establishing partnerships with new energy vehicle manufacturers like Tesla, XPeng, Li Auto, and Leapmotor, or their first-tier suppliers. The company also maintains long-term strategic collaborations with Fortune 500 parts companies such as ZF Friedrichshafen, Sumitomo Riko, and Vibracoustic. In 2025, the company's revenue exceeded 1.2 billion yuan.

The project under construction will introduce advanced production equipment such as precision machining CNC machines, die-casting machines, robotic die-casting cells, and small-scale heat treatment lines, focusing on core products like new energy lightweight chassis, damping structural components, and steering system parts, precisely aligning with the current trends of lightweighting and intelligentization in new energy vehicles. Upon completion, the project will effectively address the shortage of key new energy vehicle supporting facilities in Zhoushi Town, further amplifying the industrial cluster effect. Currently, Zhoushi Town has gathered over 200 upstream and downstream enterprises in new energy vehicle parts, intelligent equipment manufacturing, and electronic information, with an output value exceeding 40 billion yuan.

Liu Junhui, General Manager of Sunnytec (Kunshan) Precision Aluminum Products Co., Ltd., stated that locating the headquarters project in Zhoushi is not only a key decision for the company's future layout but also an affirmation of Zhoushi's and Kunshan's robust industrial foundation, unique geographical advantages, and "Comprehensive Service" business environment. A relevant official from Zhoushi Town expressed that the town will continue to polish the "Comprehensive Service" business brand, ensuring the project's early completion, early production, and early results.
