The route has a total length of 34.577 kilometers, all of which are newly built sections. It will be constructed as a two-way four-lane expressway with a design speed of 120 km/h. The overall roadbed width is 27.0 meters, and the separated roadbed width is 13.25 meters. The single-hole building clearance width for separated tunnels is 12.0 meters, while for multi-arch tunnels, the single-hole building clearance width is 13.25 meters.

Along the entire line, there will be 3 interchanges, including 1 hub interchange and 2 general interchanges; 5 tunnels; 21 large bridges, and 50 culverts; 2 mainline overpass separation structures, 25 culvert-type passages, and 17 overpass bridges.

The scope of this construction bid includes the preparation, construction, completion acceptance, and defect liability period stages for subgrade works, pavement works, bridge and culvert works, tunnel works, intersection works (excluding railway-related works), drainage works, protection works, traffic safety facility works, greening and environmental protection works (excluding functional area greening), embedded pipeline works, temporary works, three-modification works, toll plazas, and earthwork and site roads within various functional areas of the mainline project.

The bidding section for this tender is Construction Section 2 (WZWYSG-2), with starting and ending pile numbers from K50+040 to K84+484.473, covering a total length of 34.577 kilometers.

The winning bidder is Shandong Road and Bridge Group Co., Ltd. (lead party) and Shandong Dongfang Road and Bridge Construction Co., Ltd. (joint party), with a winning bid price (total) of 4,205,899,343.00 yuan.
