en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Manlleu City Council in the province of Barcelona, Spain, has launched a tender for two photovoltaic installations, covering supply, installation, legalization, commissioning, and integration into the municipal monitoring system. Both installations are collective self-consumption photovoltaic projects, adopting a simplified surplus compensation scheme, in line with the execution plan approved by the city council.

The projects will be installed on the roofs of the municipal clean point (Punto Limpio Municipal) and the Quatre Vents school. The base budget for the tender is €384,287 (including tax), with a construction period of three months. The deadline for submitting bids is July 31. The award procedure is an open tender, following standard processes.

Lot 1 corresponds to the photovoltaic installation at the municipal waste treatment center (Deixalleria Municipal), with a budget of €164,183.58. This installation has a capacity of 111.15 kWp, using 190 photovoltaic modules of 585 Wp each, with an expected annual electricity generation of 133,939 kWh.

Lot 2 corresponds to the photovoltaic installation at the CEIP Quatre Vents primary school, with a budget of €384,287.93. This installation has a capacity of 179.01 kWp, using 306 photovoltaic modules of 585 Wp each, with an expected annual electricity generation of 198,648 kWh.

This project has not received EU funding.

Spain has been continuously promoting tenders for photovoltaic projects on public buildings in recent years. Under the framework of the country's "Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan," multiple photovoltaic self-consumption projects at schools and sports venues have been tendered in areas such as the Balearic Islands. The two installations in Manlleu are both located on the roofs of public facilities, adopting a collective self-consumption model to prioritize electricity generation for the facilities' own use, with surplus power integrated into the grid through a simplified compensation scheme.
