en.Wedoany.com Reported - SecuWave, a subsidiary of OpenBase and the general distributor of TeamViewer DEX in South Korea, participated alongside TeamViewer Korea in the 'CISO KOREA 2026' event held on July 7 at the Peace & Park (Royal Park) Conference Center in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. During the event, they introduced AI-based endpoint operations and digital workplace strategies.

Hosted by the Korea Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Council and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency, the event was themed 'CISO's Practical Guide in the AI Era.' The event focused on the expansion of attack surfaces and the advancement of cyber threats driven by AI proliferation, sharing security challenges and response strategies faced by enterprises and organizations.
A total of 700 attendees, including members of the Korea CISO Council and CISOs from public institutions and enterprises, participated in the event. SecuWave and TeamViewer Korea set up a joint booth at the event, highlighting solutions for innovating endpoint operations and optimizing user experience in AI-based digital workplace environments. Both companies emphasized that with the expansion of AI applications and the prevalence of hybrid work environments, enterprises need to shift from traditional reactive operational systems to predictive and preventive operational models.
Kim Do-yeon, Managing Director of TeamViewer Korea, delivered a presentation titled 'Security Operation Strategies and Execution Plans for CISOs in the Digital Workplace Era.' He noted that AI-based Digital Employee Experience (DEX) technology not only enhances IT operational efficiency but is also emerging as a new paradigm for security operations. He particularly emphasized that by implementing a predictive operational system that detects and addresses issues before users notice them, enterprises can automate repetitive operational tasks and fundamentally eliminate failures, thereby ensuring productivity while improving system stability.
Kim also introduced application cases of this technology in industries such as finance, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics, explaining how AI-based endpoint management and operational automation contribute to improving user experience, enhancing security levels, and reducing operational risks.
A representative from SecuWave stated that as AI is formally introduced into various business processes, it is becoming increasingly important to examine endpoint operations, user experience, and security management from a holistic perspective. Going forward, SecuWave will continue to collaborate with TeamViewer Korea to support customers in building secure and efficient digital workplaces.
