en.Wedoany.com Reported - The RASLAG 4 solar power plant in Pampanga, Philippines, supplied with high-efficiency photovoltaic modules by Trina Solar, has officially obtained compliance certification from the Philippine Energy Regulatory Commission, becoming a standardized renewable energy power generation facility with local compliant operation qualifications. This certification highlights the performance of Trina Solar's high-efficiency modules and its project execution capabilities, also marking new progress in the company's localized strategic layout in Southeast Asia, further consolidating its position in the large-scale ground-mounted solar market in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

The RASLAG 4 solar power plant, invested and developed by RASLAG Group, a solar operator listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange, has an installed capacity of 36.65MW and achieved full grid connection and operation in October 2024, continuously supplying clean electricity to the Philippine national grid. Leveraging the power generation performance and long-term reliability of Trina Solar's high-efficiency modules, the project is expected to generate an average annual electricity output of 48GWh from 2026 to 2027, meeting the daily electricity needs of approximately 20,000 Filipino households and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 34,000 tons per year. This demonstrates Trina Solar's commitment to supporting the Philippines' low-carbon transition with high-quality solar products.

Reyland Benjamin Nepomuceno, Chief Strategy Officer of RASLAG Group, stated: "The RASLAG 4 project is a key part of our strategy to expand renewable energy capacity and match the growing electricity demand in the Philippines. For such large-scale ground-mounted solar plants, module suppliers need mature technology, stable supply assurance, and experience in executing large projects. Trina Solar's leading products and extensive experience in Southeast Asian projects have provided assurance for the RASLAG 4 project. We are delighted to continue our collaboration to deliver more green electricity to the Philippine market."

Wang Zhengzheng, Head of Trina Solar's Southeast Asia Business, said: "We are honored to support the RASLAG 4 project. The Philippines is a core market in Trina Solar's Southeast Asian strategic layout. Since 2013, the company has continuously collaborated with local partners to advance the deployment of large-scale solar plants, integrating into the local energy development process. As the Philippines' electricity demand rises and the energy transition accelerates, Trina Solar will provide integrated solar-storage solutions to meet diverse local energy needs."

Leveraging its long-term accumulation in the Philippine market, Trina Solar has amassed rich local project experience and partner resources. The company will continue to deepen collaboration with partners across Southeast Asian countries in the future, contributing to sustainable development.
