en.Wedoany.com Reported - National Express has launched a daily direct coach service (Route 105) connecting Bideford, Barnstaple, Taunton, Bristol, Cheltenham, and Birmingham from July 13, offering passengers a more comfortable, reliable, and sustainable travel alternative to driving.

According to the latest domestic sentiment tracker from VisitBritain, nearly eight in ten (79%) respondents plan to take domestic trips within the next year, indicating strong demand for UK travel despite rising living costs and holiday expenses. The new service coincides with the peak summer travel season, and National Express has previously offered 100,000 discounted single tickets through its "Summer of Yes" campaign across its UK network, with fares as low as £7 or less for day trips and short breaks on specific routes, valid until September.

Neil Collins, Director of Network Planning at National Express, stated that the new service provides a convenient direct connection between the Midlands and North Devon, with coaches offering a comfortable and sustainable alternative to driving, suitable for seaside holidays, city breaks, or visiting friends and family. The company's modern coaches are equipped with free Wi-Fi, USB power sockets, and offer a free baggage allowance of up to 20 kg.
