This new route will operate daily using Embraer E175 aircraft, offering passengers a premium cabin and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi sponsored by AT&T. In addition to the new Maracaibo route, American Airlines also indicated plans to resume flights to Caracas once Simón Bolívar International Airport resumes commercial operations. Following the June earthquake, the company operated a humanitarian flight to Caracas, delivering over 4 tons of essential supplies, including food, drinking water, baby formula, diapers, and hygiene products, to be distributed to affected communities.
