en.Wedoany.com Reported - Super Micro Computer, Inc. recently announced the expansion of its Rear Door Heat Exchanger (RDHx) portfolio, further enhancing its end-to-end liquid cooling solutions for high-density AI and HPC infrastructure. The expanded RDHx products offer flexible cooling capabilities, supporting door-level cooling from 10kW to 120kW, suitable for AI factories ranging from system-level to rack-scale, providing a fast, low-disruption liquid cooling deployment path for both new and legacy data centers.

As a key component of Supermicro's Data Center Building Block Solutions (DCBBS), this expanded RDHx portfolio aims to help customers realize the benefits of liquid cooling, with a maximum rack-level cooling capacity of up to 240kW. Charles Liang, President and CEO of Supermicro, stated that the expanded portfolio provides customers with unparalleled customization and optimization options, helping to achieve more efficient data center operations. Customers can design and deploy proven rack-scale cooling solutions based on their facility requirements, infrastructure constraints, and workload needs, thereby achieving higher computing density, cooling efficiency, and lower total cost of ownership (TCO).

The ten expanded RDHx models can be deployed as primary liquid cooling solutions or integrated with Supermicro's direct-to-chip (D2C) liquid cooling technology as part of a complete DCBBS infrastructure solution. These solutions are compatible with standard EIA, ORv3, and MGX racks, and can be seamlessly integrated into both new data centers and existing facilities, enabling organizations to increase computing density and cooling efficiency for AI and HPC workloads without major facility renovations. As part of the DCBBS portfolio, RDHx can be offered alongside accelerated systems, rack-scale integration, facility power and cooling, intelligent management software, and deployment services, helping customers simplify procurement, reduce integration risks, and shorten time to operation (TTO).

Key advantages of Supermicro RDHx solutions include: direct installation into standard racks, suitable for new builds or retrofit projects, without requiring dedicated facility chilled water or additional hardware; optimized energy efficiency through intelligent fan control, N+1 redundancy, and anti-condensation protection, ensuring continuous operation and simplifying maintenance; support for DC-powered models integrated with rack busbars for simplified deployment, or AC-powered models for broad infrastructure compatibility; real-time monitoring of temperature, pressure, flow, and pump status via Redfish, SNMP, web-based management, and Supermicro SuperCloud Composer.

Supermicro DCBBS provides complete modular AI infrastructure built from proven components and subsystems, supporting flexible deployment from individual servers and networking to full rack-scale and data center-level solutions, including software and services.
