On July 16, GAC Group held an event at its manufacturing plant to celebrate the production of its 30 millionth vehicle and express gratitude to its 30 million users. Attendees included Fu Bingfeng, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers; Feng Xingya, Chairman of GAC Group; Xia Xianqing, General Manager of GAC Group; relevant leaders from provincial, municipal, and district governments; industry partners; suppliers; dealers; representatives of domestic and international customers; employee representatives; and media representatives.

During the ceremony, GAC's overseas manufacturing bases showcased their latest progress via video link: its Thailand factory celebrated the production of its 10,000th vehicle, a new model rolled off the assembly line at its Indonesia factory, and the factory in Graz, Austria, officially commenced mass production of the AION UT. The 30 millionth vehicle to take the stage was a right-hand-drive GAC M8 PHEV (sold overseas under the name GN8). Feng Xingya, Chairman of GAC Group, handed over the vehicle keys to Tony Jaa, a globally renowned action star and household name in Thailand. The delivery of the 30 millionth vehicle marks a significant milestone in GAC's 29-year journey. This number represents the trust of tens of millions of customers, GAC's commitment to quality and safety, its drive for electrification and smart technology, and a reflection of China's automotive industry transitioning from scale to value.
