en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 14, Liu Xiang, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the Trade Union of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), visited Tibet for exchanges, holding talks successively with Xu Zhiwen, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Publicity Department of the Tibet Autonomous Region Party Committee, and Tang Mingying, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region People's Congress and Chairman of the Regional Federation of Trade Unions.
During the meeting with Xu Zhiwen, Liu Xiang expressed gratitude for the long-standing trust and support from the Publicity Department of the Tibet Autonomous Region Party Committee, and introduced CCCC's development, core strengths, and achievements in fulfilling social responsibilities. He stated that CCCC has thoroughly implemented the important directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of central enterprises, rooted in its responsibilities as a state-owned enterprise, and has long been deeply engaged in the snowy plateau. Tibet holds a strategically important position, boasts outstanding resource endowments, and has immense development potential, with a solid foundation and broad space for cooperation between the two sides. Looking toward the "15th Five-Year Plan," CCCC will fully leverage its integrated, comprehensive, and synergistic system advantages in the "Five Full, Four Major, and Five Type" fields, carry forward the "Two Roads Spirit" and the "Old Tibet Spirit," and deepen practical cooperation in areas such as comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network construction, upgrading border towns, building national ecological security barriers, promoting distinctive cultural themes, and brand building, contributing wisdom and strength to the construction of a modern socialist new Tibet.
Xu Zhiwen welcomed Liu Xiang and his delegation, and thanked CCCC for its contributions to Tibet's economic and social development over the years. He stated that Tibet has thoroughly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important directives on Tibet work and the Party's strategies for governing Tibet in the new era, focusing on maintaining stability, driving economic growth, and promoting development.
