(BIGMR) for a research symposium. He was accompanied by Jia Mingxing, Standing Member and Executive Vice President of the CNIA Party Committee, and Xu Yun, Deputy Secretary-General and Director of the Office (Party Committee Office).
Wang Shulai, Party Secretary, Executive Director, and General Manager of BIGMR, reported to Ao Hong on the institute's basic situation, main work achievements, and future development plans. Wang stated that under the leadership of the CNIA Party Committee, BIGMR will promote the deep integration of Party building and business operations, striving to build a first-class geological science and technology enterprise and contribute to supporting the construction of a world-class industry association.
Ao Hong affirmed the progress and achievements of BIGMR's various tasks. He pointed out that since its establishment 70 years ago, BIGMR has adhered to the original aspiration of serving the country with resources, deeply engaged in the field of mineral resource exploration, and achieved a series of results in geological research and prospecting, making significant contributions to the high-quality development of China's mineral resources industry. BIGMR has actively expanded overseas business, conducting resource exploration in multiple countries and regions along globally important metallogenic belts to support national strategic mineral resource security. At the same time, it has promoted the integration and innovation of Party building and business, using Party building to lead the coordinated development of various businesses.
Ao Hong stated that during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation is accelerating. Facing national strategies for resource security and ecological civilization construction, as well as the trend of green and intelligent transformation in the geological exploration industry, BIGMR needs to continuously enhance its core competitiveness, industry influence, and sustainable development capabilities. He put forward three requirements for BIGMR's future development:
