en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Pilot Public Service Platform of the National-Local Joint Humanoid Robot Innovation Center was officially launched on July 18, 2026, in the Zhangjiang Robot Valley, Pudong, Shanghai. The platform establishes an integrated pilot testing closed loop covering R&D prototyping, precision assembly, comprehensive testing, warehousing, and delivery, with an annual capacity of 2,000 complete machines and 2,000 sets of core precision components.

The newly launched pilot platform, located in the Zhangjiang Robot Valley in Pudong, Shanghai, serves as a key infrastructure for the embodied intelligence industry in Pudong. By integrating R&D prototyping, precision assembly, comprehensive testing, and warehousing and delivery, the platform forms a complete pilot testing chain. The launch of this pilot platform will provide critical support for the transformation of humanoid robots from laboratory samples to mass-produced products, helping to reduce enterprise R&D and production line costs while accumulating standard processes and measured data.

As the country's first pilot zone for AI innovation application, the Pudong New Area has been continuously advancing institutional innovation and resource aggregation in the artificial intelligence industry in recent years. The establishment of the pilot platform is one of the specific measures taken by Pudong to promote the development of the embodied intelligence industry, which will help drive the cluster development of related industries in the Yangtze River Delta region. A promotional conference was held concurrently, during which the Pudong New Area stated that it will further aggregate AI industry resources and accelerate the evolution of integrated and innovative industrial paradigms.
