en.Wedoany.com Reported - The P1 phase of Envision Energy's Chifeng Zero-Carbon Hydrogen-Ammonia Project recently reached a key milestone, with all 12 ZHSFPT-66000/35 electrolytic water hydrogen production rectifier transformers, independently developed by XD Zhongte under China XD Electric, successfully commissioned and put into operation. The core equipment for the world's largest green hydrogen-ammonia project is now fully in place.

Envision Energy's Chifeng Zero-Carbon Hydrogen-Ammonia Project, with a total planned annual output of 1.52 million tons of green synthetic ammonia, is the world's first commercially operated green hydrogen-ammonia project. The project adopts an integrated "wind-solar-storage-hydrogen-ammonia-methanol" full industrial chain model, using 100% green electricity for ammonia production throughout the process. It has received the world's first renewable ammonia certification certificate from Bureau Veritas.

As key equipment for the project, this batch of rectifier transformers is the largest capacity rectifier transformer dedicated to electrolytic water hydrogen production in China. The R&D team optimized lead layouts, effectively suppressed stray losses, and successfully overcame industry challenges such as temperature rise control at high-current valve-side interfaces, addressing technical difficulties including high valve-side voltage, high current, and the 24-pulse tightly coupled winding structure.
Facing the variable climate in northern China and harsh on-site installation conditions, the company's after-sales service team ensured project progress with professional expertise and dedication, receiving a letter of thanks from the Envision project team.
The successful commissioning of these 12 products represents China XD Electric's contribution to supporting China's "dual carbon" goals and serving the global green energy transition.
