en.Wedoany.com Reported - LYTE Aviation has partnered with AMROS Global to jointly develop and deliver the PowerBridge HyVolt hybrid electric propulsion system for the 40-seat hybrid hydrogen-electric eVTOL aircraft, SkyBus.

The PowerBridge HyVolt system combines traditional turbine engines with electric propulsion. This integrated solution is designed to support a range of 1,000 kilometers in all-electric cruise mode, targeting defense and commercial applications—areas historically constrained by payload and range limitations in electric aviation options.

Fresh-ta Farzam, CEO and Founder of LYTE Aviation, stated that launching the first 40-seat hybrid hydrogen-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft is just the beginning, and with PowerBridge HyVolt, the company is moving toward achieving all-electric cruise flight with a range of 1,000 kilometers. Farzam noted that the partnership with AMROS supports the development and commercialization of this system, which is also planned to serve as a platform for other original equipment manufacturers in the industry.

The two companies plan to advance the hybrid hydrogen-electric eVTOL toward certification and operations in the coming years. The PowerBridge HyVolt is designed to reduce fuel consumption and emissions by increasing the proportion of electric propulsion.

Eros Tavani, Founder and Board Member of AMROS Global, stated that breakthrough engineering must be matched with operational expertise and a clear certification path to achieve success, and the company is proud to support LYTE Aviation in transforming PowerBridge HyVolt from concept into commercial reality.

Switzerland-based AMROS Global provides aircraft technical management services, including Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAMO), aircraft transitions, and engineering support. The company is supporting LYTE in developing and commercializing the PowerBridge HyVolt solution.
