This project is a major provincial project in Jiangsu Province and a core industrial initiative of Wuzhong Taihu New City. The project is divided into two main sections: the production base and the headquarters. The production base is located north of East Taihu Road and east of Suwang Road in Wuzhong District, covering an area of 243.78 mu with a total building area of 229,000 square meters. The headquarters project covers an area of 70.24 mu with a building area of 255,000 square meters.
Currently, all phases of the project are progressing as planned. Phase I of the production base has been put into operation; in Phase II, the installation of water, electricity, fire protection, air conditioning, and equipment in the production workshop has reached 82%, 60%, and 23% completion respectively, with the comprehensive building topped out; Phase III's parking structure has been topped out, with secondary structure work 45% complete; Phase IV has completed land auction. The R&D and supporting buildings of the headquarters project have fully entered the curtain wall, finishing, and secondary structure construction stages.
Upon full completion, the project will comprehensively enhance United Powertrain's intelligent manufacturing capabilities and core component production capacity, further consolidating its industrial layout in the new energy vehicle powertrain system sector. This project also serves as a key support for Wuzhong Taihu New City in advancing industrial upgrading and strengthening the new energy and intelligent vehicle industry cluster.
