The vehicle comes standard with air suspension, adaptive dampers, and rear-wheel steering.

The interior features a standard seven-seat layout, with second-row independent seats offering 14-way power adjustment, heating, ventilation, and massage functions. It includes a 17.3-inch touchscreen multimedia system, a 21-inch head-up display, a 21.4-inch rear touchscreen, a 27-speaker sound system, and a refrigerator/cooler. Safety features include nine airbags, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane centering, semi-autonomous parking assist, and a surround-view camera.
The X9 comes with a 7-year, unlimited-kilometer warranty, and the high-voltage battery is covered for 8 years or 160,000km.

Service intervals are every 12 months or 20,000km (whichever comes first), with specific pricing to be confirmed later. In addition to the updated G6 electric mid-size SUV and the X9 electric MPV, Xpeng plans to launch the L03 coupe SUV, G9L large SUV, and L05 mid-size SUV in Australia within the next six months.
