en.Wedoany.com Reported - Xpeng has launched the X9 electric MPV in the Australian market, announcing pricing and specifications, with orders now open.

The 2027 Xpeng X9 is available in two variants: the FWD Standard Range and the AWD Performance, priced at AU$89,900 and AU$109,900 respectively (both excluding on-road costs).

The entry-level FWD Standard Range is powered by a single front-mounted motor delivering 235kW, supplied by a 94.8kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, offering a WLTP range of up to 535km.

The flagship AWD Performance variant features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with a combined output of 370kW and 640Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100km/h in 5.9 seconds. It is powered by a larger 110kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery, providing a WLTP range of up to 580km.

All variants feature 11kW AC charging and a peak DC fast-charging rate of up to 542kW, enabling a 10% to 80% charge in just 12 minutes, along with vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability of up to 6kW.

The vehicle comes standard with air suspension, adaptive dampers, and rear-wheel steering.

The interior features a standard seven-seat layout, with second-row independent seats offering 14-way power adjustment, heating, ventilation, and massage functions. It includes a 17.3-inch touchscreen multimedia system, a 21-inch head-up display, a 21.4-inch rear touchscreen, a 27-speaker sound system, and a refrigerator/cooler. Safety features include nine airbags, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane centering, semi-autonomous parking assist, and a surround-view camera.

The X9 comes with a 7-year, unlimited-kilometer warranty, and the high-voltage battery is covered for 8 years or 160,000km.

Service intervals are every 12 months or 20,000km (whichever comes first), with specific pricing to be confirmed later. In addition to the updated G6 electric mid-size SUV and the X9 electric MPV, Xpeng plans to launch the L03 coupe SUV, G9L large SUV, and L05 mid-size SUV in Australia within the next six months. The manufacturer has also confirmed that the flagship GX SUV will be available in Australia, though a specific timeline has yet to be determined.
