China Galaxy Power Completes 1GW/4GWh Energy Storage Project in Xilin Gol League

en.Wedoany.com Reported - The construction general contracting project of the 1GW/4GWh independent energy storage power station in Xilin Gol League, undertaken by Galaxy Power for Envision Energy, was recently completed, marking a phased achievement in the construction of this large-scale energy storage project.

As the general contractor for the project, Galaxy Power coordinated on-site construction organization, safety management, quality control, and milestone delivery across key areas such as electrical installation, equipment installation, cable laying, grounding installation, commissioning, and testing, ensuring the project progressed safely, orderly, and with high quality through professional engineering services.

The Xilin Gol League Envision Energy storage project is large in overall scale and complex in system composition, covering multiple functional areas including the energy storage area, step-up substation area, and living area. The project's energy storage system consists of 199 sets of PCS integrated units and 796 sets of lithium iron phosphate battery prefabricated units, along with a supporting 220kV step-up substation and related electrical systems.

The station's internal electrical system involves multiple aspects including main transformers, 220kV AIS high-voltage equipment, 35kV power distribution systems, SVG reactive power compensation systems, energy storage equipment, secondary equipment, communication equipment, cable laying, grounding installation, commissioning, and testing.
