en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 23, 2026, the Russian Federal Agency for Mineral Resources (Dalnedra) held an auction for the mining rights to the Ruchey Nechaku placer gold deposit (right tributary of the Burgakhchan River). The limited liability company "Luch" Miners' Artel (OOO Artel starateley "Luch") won the mining rights for 329 million rubles, with the initial license price set at 15.76 million rubles.
The other four companies participating in the auction included: OOO "Goldarktik", OOO "Charan", OOO "ZER-Arktika", and OOO "Start+".
As of January 1, 2025, the state balance sheet for the deposit records 81 kg of C1 category placer gold balance reserves and 108 kg of C2 category. Forecast resources include 278 kg of P1 category and 30 kg of P2 category technogenic gold. The license holder will have 27 years to extract the reserves.
The Nechaku deposit (stream, right tributary of the Burgakhchan River, section 70-101) is located within the Burgakhchan ore field, in the Bilibinsky District of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. The mining area covers 2.08 square kilometers. This area lies within existing license zones, with license numbers AND 01185 BR (held by OOO "Pervoye GRP", for hard rock gold mining) and AND 01186 BR (held by OOO "Pervoye GRP", for hard rock gold mining).
