After Berth No.4 officially enters operation, it will meet the berthing needs of 70,000-ton coal vessels, effectively strengthening the energy supply guarantee foundation for thermal power and heating sectors in South China. Meanwhile, the berth can accommodate large vessels transporting various bulk raw materials such as grain, iron ore, and construction materials, significantly increasing single-vessel cargo capacity, effectively reducing comprehensive logistics costs, and accelerating cargo turnover efficiency. This further consolidates Guangzhou Port's advantage as a core hub for bulk cargo logistics in South China, providing solid shipping support for stable manufacturing production and livelihood material supply in Guangzhou City.

In the next step, the Guangzhou Port Construction Engineering Quality Supervision Station will continue to tighten and enforce engineering supervision responsibilities, closely monitor quality and safety control throughout the entire construction process, orderly advance the upgrade and renovation of all berths in the Xinsha Port Area, and continuously enhance the hardware capability of port infrastructure, laying a solid hardware foundation for building Guangzhou into an international shipping hub.
