en.Wedoany.com Reported - Avery Dennison South Asia has inaugurated a new distribution center in Bengaluru, India, spanning more than twice the area of its previous facility, serving business segments including labels, smart labels, tapes, graphics, and reflective solutions. The company stated that this expansion is aimed at addressing the continued growth in demand across these businesses and is part of its strategy to move closer to customers.

According to Avery Dennison, the expansion of its infrastructure reflects its strategy of building capacity ahead of demand, helping to improve delivery speed and reliability as business volumes continue to grow. The new facility also houses a customer experience center, allowing brands to gain an up-close understanding of the company's solutions and innovations.
Saurabh Agarwal, Vice President and General Manager of Avery Dennison South Asia, stated that India remains one of the company's fastest-growing and most strategically important markets globally. He noted that this investment goes beyond expanding warehousing capacity—it strengthens the company's long-term commitment to the region; as customers' demands for speed and reliability continue to rise, the company must not only deliver world-class solutions but also be present where customers need it most.
Hemant Tewari, Director of Operations and Supply Chain for South Asia, pointed out that across the materials and labeling industry, an agile supply chain has become as critical as product quality itself, with customers expecting consistent and reliable service at a fast pace. He said the new facility is a direct response to this shift, focusing not on increasing production capacity but on rethinking how the company serves its customers.
The distribution center is located at a convenient point on the Outer Ring Road, which the company says helps accelerate the movement of goods across India. As the site is situated outside the city limits, operations are not constrained by the last-mile delivery time restrictions common in urban areas, a factor the company believes is key to achieving its goal of next-day delivery within Bengaluru. Avery Dennison stated that with this launch, the company is reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Indian market, providing infrastructure support for current operations and future growth across key business verticals.
