The aircraft type is scheduled for delivery starting in the fourth quarter of this year, with up to 14 E195-E2s gradually entering service across 42 routes in Brazil between November 2026 and March 2027, including four new bases: Cabo Frio (RJ), Ji-Paraná (RO), Macaé (RJ), and Rondonópolis (MT). Once these bases and routes are operational, LATAM's domestic destinations in Brazil will reach 67, marking the largest domestic route network in its history in the Brazilian market.

Jerome Cadier, CEO of LATAM Airlines Brasil, stated that this is only the first phase of E195-E2 operations, with the goal of shortening distances and connecting more Brazilians to Brazil and the world; meanwhile, the company is already evaluating up to 18 new potential destinations for a second phase in 2027, which will proceed in line with Embraer's delivery schedule for new aircraft.

Among the confirmed new routes, Guarulhos–Rondonópolis will operate 7 weekly flights starting December 2026; Guarulhos–Ji-Paraná will operate 4 weekly flights starting December 2026; Guarulhos–Cabo Frio will operate 4 weekly flights starting December 2026; Guarulhos–Macaé will operate 3 weekly flights starting February 2027; Brasília–Ribeirão Preto will operate 7 weekly flights starting February 2027; Curitiba–Londrina will operate 14 weekly flights starting March 2027; Curitiba–Cuiabá will operate 7 weekly flights starting March 2027; and Porto Alegre–Viracopos will operate 14 weekly flights starting February 2027.

Some existing routes will also see increased frequencies with the E195-E2. Guarulhos–Palmas will add 4 weekly flights starting December 2026, reaching 21 weekly flights; Guarulhos–Uberlândia will add 2 weekly flights, reaching 28 weekly flights; Guarulhos–Cascavel will add 7 weekly flights, reaching 21 weekly flights; Guarulhos–Uberaba will add 1 weekly flight, reaching 4 weekly flights; Galeão–Curitiba will add 7 weekly flights starting December 2026, reaching 21 weekly flights; and Porto Alegre–Curitiba will add 7 weekly flights starting February 2027, reaching 21 weekly flights.

The E195-E2 will also take over some frequencies on existing routes in certain markets to improve the efficiency of the company's route network. This involves routes from Guarulhos to and from Belo Horizonte/Confins, Brasília, Caldas Novas, Cascavel, Curitiba, Juiz de Fora, Maceió, Manaus, Palmas, Pelotas, Porto Alegre, Recife, Ribeirão Preto, Rio de Janeiro/Galeão, Teresina, Uberaba, Uberlândia, and Vitória, as well as Fortaleza–Recife.

For the second phase, LATAM is studying the use of the E195-E2 to expand into up to 18 new potential bases, depending on Embraer's new aircraft delivery progress; confirmed additional operations will be announced by LATAM in due course.

This batch of E195-E2 aircraft features a 2-2 layout with 136 seats, offering Premium Economy and Economy classes. Premium Economy has up to 20 seats, providing extra legroom, greater seat recline, and differentiated onboard services. The aircraft offers free Wi-Fi for LATAM Pass members, USB-C ports at every seat, and access to the LATAM Play platform, featuring movies, series, music, and other entertainment content.

The introduction of the E195-E2 is based on the LATAM Group's firm order for 24 units of this aircraft type, plus purchase rights for 50 additional units. LATAM stated that this partnership aims to bring people, regions, and opportunities closer together through the aircraft's efficient operations, deepening domestic connectivity in Brazil.

To date, LATAM is the airline group with the largest investment in route networks in the Brazilian aviation industry. Its number of domestic airports served has grown from 44 in 2019 to 63 currently, and will reach 67 after the first batch of E195-E2 routes begins operations, setting a historic record for LATAM Airlines Brasil's domestic destinations. In the international market, LATAM Group subsidiaries operate flights to more than 90 international destinations with their own aircraft, 31 of which are direct flights from Brazil. According to data from Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac), the LATAM Group has maintained a leading share in both the domestic and international Brazilian markets since 2021.
