en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 7, the China-Europe Railway Express Service Center in the Beijing Daxing Airport Lingang Economic Zone was officially launched, connecting business operations between the Lingang Economic Zone and the China-Europe Railway Express assembly center in Beijing and Hebei, creating a new air-ground multimodal transport corridor.
At 10:30 a.m., the first batch of cross-border e-commerce goods departed from the Daxing Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, traveling by road directly to Shijiazhuang International Land Port before being shipped to Europe via the China-Europe Railway Express. The successful linkage between the air hub in Beijing and the land hub in Hebei has streamlined aviation, road, and rail operations, significantly enhancing cross-border transport efficiency.
Wang Chuanmeng, Executive Director of Hebei Land Port Group, stated that the integration of the dual hubs in Beijing and Hebei has optimized the regional logistics layout and smoothed the trans-Eurasian cross-border trunk corridor. Enterprises can now freely choose among air freight, the China-Europe Railway Express, and air-rail intermodal transport.
The service center, jointly established by the Joint Management Committee of the Daxing Airport Lingang Economic Zone and Hebei Land Port Group, integrates logistics resources across the region, offering foreign trade enterprises one-stop services from booking to customs clearance, enabling a single commission, end-to-end delivery, and one-document-through transport.
Yu Zhilong, Director of the Joint Management Committee of the Beijing Daxing International Airport Lingang Economic Zone, noted that efforts will continue to optimize air-rail-road intermodal procedures, improve logistics supporting facilities, deepen collaboration between the two regions, and build a model of cross-regional hub coordination, providing robust transportation and logistics support for the high-quality development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
