Forestry is one of the key pillars of Brazil's economy. The two new products will be showcased at the Lignum Latin America trade fair, held from the 15th to the 17th of this month in the city of Pinhais, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba, Paraná state.
The Tigercat 120 auxiliary traction winch is a stationary unit designed to assist machines such as feller bunchers, shovels, and skidders in moving safely up and down steep slopes, providing constant pulling force and greater stability. The equipment supports remote operation, with a pulling capacity of 205 kN, and its control system can be installed in the cabs of virtually any base machine.
The other new product, the Tigercat 6040 Carbonizer, converts woody residues directly into organic carbon (biochar) at the job site. The unit processes wood waste using a technologically advanced and economically efficient method, making it one of the most environmentally friendly systems on the market, reducing material volume by up to 90%.
