The project will focus on expanding domestic production of advanced dual-use propulsion systems.
Upon completion of the expansion, ePropelled's annual propulsion system production capacity will increase to more than four times its current level, in response to growing demand from US government programs, allied partners, and commercial drone manufacturers seeking secure, American-made propulsion solutions. All ePropelled products are dual-use technologies that support both government and commercial applications, allowing customers across multiple markets to share the same standards of high performance, reliability, and manufacturing quality.
ePropelled CEO Nick Grewal stated that as demand for high-performance unmanned systems continues to accelerate, expanding manufacturing capacity will ensure the company can deliver reliable, scalable, and secure propulsion systems produced in the United States, while supporting government goals to strengthen domestic manufacturing and helping government and commercial market customers deploy advanced capabilities more quickly.
The expanded facility will be equipped with automated production lines, precision motor manufacturing, controller assembly, automated testing, and integrated quality assurance systems to support high-volume manufacturing while maintaining the stringent performance standards required for aerospace, defense, industrial, and commercial applications. The new manufacturing space is expected to include expanded production cells, automated assembly equipment, environmental testing capabilities, and additional engineering resources to support rapid product development and certification for next-generation government and commercial platforms.
This expansion will focus on scaling up the manufacturing of motors, electronic speed controllers, and complete propulsion systems, accelerating the production ramp-up of emerging government and commercial drone programs, and creating highly skilled manufacturing and engineering jobs in New Hampshire. The initiative also helps strengthen the domestic supply chain for critical electric propulsion technologies, expand dual-use product manufacturing scale, and reduce US dependence on foreign suppliers. As unmanned aerial vehicles become increasingly prevalent in defense, public safety, logistics, agriculture, inspection, and other applications, scalable domestic manufacturing capacity has become a national priority.
Grewal added that every ePropelled product is dual-use, serving a wide range of government and commercial missions, and with this expansion, the company is well-positioned to become one of the leading suppliers of propulsion systems for US unmanned aerial vehicles and other advanced mobility platforms. The expanded manufacturing operations are expected to be fully operational following the completion of facility upgrades and equipment installation.
