Chambal Fertilisers Gadepan Unit TAN Project Commences Commercial Production in India

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited officially commenced commercial production of industrial-grade ammonium nitrate at its existing Gadepan site in the Kota district of Rajasthan on August 20. The product launched this time is high-density ammonium nitrate (HDAN) in granular form. The company has submitted a disclosure to BSE in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI regulations.

HDAN production is the core milestone in the overall construction of the TAN project at this site. The project also includes the construction of a Weak Nitric Acid production facility at the same site. Weak Nitric Acid commenced production on June 1, 2026. The commissioning of HDAN marks the full line integration of the TAN project.

The EPC contract for the TAN project was awarded to Larsen & Toubro in April 2023. The project is located within Chambal Fertilisers' existing Gadepan urea production complex, which operates three urea units.
