China Southern Power Grid and China Electrical Equipment Sign Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement

Qian Chaoyang and Ji Mingbin welcomed Li Hongfeng and Yan Huafeng and their delegation, and expressed gratitude to CEE for its long-standing support to CSG. Qian Chaoyang stated that, looking toward the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, CSG will firmly implement the new energy security strategy of "Four Revolutions and One Cooperation," further deepen strategic coordination with CEE, focus on cooperation in power grid engineering equipment to jointly advance the development of the "Three New" initiatives; focus on cooperation in core power grid equipment to jointly enhance self-reliance and controllability; focus on cooperation in digital and intelligent power grid equipment to jointly strengthen industrial ecosystem cultivation; and focus on cooperation in cross-border power grid equipment to jointly expand international cooperation space. Together, they will achieve high-quality development while serving the national development agenda and contribute greater strength to building a strong energy nation.

Li Hongfeng expressed gratitude to CSG for its long-standing care, trust, and strong support to CEE. He stated that CSG, as a mega state-owned backbone central enterprise safeguarding national energy security, has consistently maintained a globally leading position in core technology areas such as ultra-high voltage (UHV) and extra-high voltage (EHV) direct current transmission, large power grid safe and stable operation and control, large-capacity energy storage, and superconductivity. Since its restructuring and establishment, CEE has continuously strengthened its main business of power transmission and distribution equipment. At the outset of the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, CEE hopes to further broaden and deepen cooperation with CSG in areas including joint improvement of supply chain quality, joint tackling of scientific and technological innovations, joint coordination of international business, and mutual learning and co-building in Party building, so as to jointly promote high-quality development of the power grid.
