China's Pinglu Canal Successfully Passes Completion Acceptance

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 28, China's Pinglu Canal successfully passed its completion acceptance, laying a solid foundation for navigation opening in September.

During the acceptance process, various acceptance teams went deep into the project sites including the waterway, hubs, and water service areas to conduct a comprehensive verification of the project's physical quality. Meanwhile, they also conducted meticulous reviews of the complete set of project documentation, including construction archives, contract management, and design changes.

Through the prescribed procedures of on-site inspections, review of internal documentation, hearing work reports from all parties, and collective deliberation and discussion, the Completion Acceptance Committee unanimously concluded that the Pinglu Canal's waterway alignment is smooth and straight, water area dimensions meet standards, slope support is stable, ecological revetment greening and landscape effects are good, the physical quality of the hub ship locks and metal structure equipment is qualified, and all technical indicators meet specification and design requirements. The internal documentation is complete and comprehensive, and the management systems are sound. The committee unanimously agreed that the Pinglu Canal has passed the completion acceptance.

This completion acceptance was organized and implemented from August 27 to 28. The Completion Acceptance Committee, composed of multiple units including the Department of Transport of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guangxi Maritime Safety Administration, and Pinglu Canal Group, jointly participated in the acceptance work.
