en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 3, JK Cement's JK DryChem Industries LLC officially commissioned a new construction chemicals manufacturing facility in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) in the UAE. Located in the Al Ghail Industrial Area, the plant covers approximately 5,000 square meters and primarily produces construction material products such as liquid admixtures, precast additives, dry-mix materials, and coatings.

The project investment amounts to AED 6 million. In November 2025, JK DryChem signed a lease agreement with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone, confirming the establishment of the production base in the Al Ghail Industrial Area; the first-phase workforce scale announced at that time was approximately 50 technical positions. The project lease term is 25 years.

The project was previously planned to commence operations in January 2026, but the September 3 milestone marks the officially confirmed commissioning of the manufacturing facility. Following production startup, the product range further covers categories such as waterproofing materials, cement additives, tile adhesives, plastering materials, and dry-mix mortars. Products will first be supplied to the UAE market, with subsequent export plans extending to GCC countries, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

Looking at the project timeline, JK DryChem completed site leasing and investment arrangements in November 2025, confirming the 5,000-square-meter production base and the AED 6 million investment scale. After construction and equipment deployment, the facility was officially commissioned in September 2026. The project has now transitioned from the construction and preparation phase into actual production, with the production entity, investment scale, site location, product range, and subsequent market arrangements all finalized.
