en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 3, MAN Truck & Bus announced its investment plan for the European service and sales network. By the end of 2030, the company, together with its dealers, service partners, and importers, plans to invest a total of approximately €700 million in establishing new service outlets, modernizing existing facilities, and expanding regional coverage. MAN had previously committed €300 million, and its partners now plan to add approximately €400 million.

Around one-third of the investment will be allocated to electrification and digital service capabilities, including high-voltage system training for service technicians, the construction of specialized battery repair centers, and the addition of publicly accessible charging facilities at MAN-owned outlets. The investment scope also includes upgrades to existing sales and repair facilities.

MAN plans to expand service coverage in markets such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Poland, Spain, and Turkey, and to add service locations in areas with concentrated logistics activity. Under current plans, approximately 80% of MAN customers in the future will be able to reach a service outlet within a 30-minute drive.

Some projects have already been launched. A new MAN-owned outlet in the Lisbon region of Portugal has entered the construction phase; a new sales and service center in Lithuania is scheduled to be commissioned within 2026, with the project being invested in and built by MAN partner Adampolis Group.

This round of investment will continue until the end of 2030, with funding covering projects such as company-owned outlets, partner service facilities, battery repair capabilities, high-voltage system training, and charging infrastructure.
